Every scholarship Folds of Honor delivers is for a family that gave something enormous. The organization provides educational scholarships to the families of fallen and disabled military service members and first responders, year-round.

Over the Fourth of July weekend, Finosec donated $8,000 to that mission.

How the number was built

Here’s the part we love most: that $8,000 was built one registration at a time.

Every registration to a Finosec webinar in the first half of 2026 contributed to it. So did every card dropped at a Finosec tradeshow booth. Most of the bankers who added to the total probably didn’t think of it as a donation at the time. They were signing up to learn about exam readiness, or stopping by to say hello between conference sessions. But each of those moments carried a contribution with it. That’s how Finosec Forward is designed to work: ordinary moments of showing up, converted into something lasting.

The number was built by the bankers who showed up.

Different missions, same instinct

Giving back is at the heart of Finosec Forward, our commitment to serve the communities that trust us. When Finosec was founded, 10% of the company’s stock ownership was set aside for charitable giving. That wasn’t a marketing decision made later; it was part of the original blueprint.

This instinct didn’t start with us. Community banks and credit unions live it every day, in the neighborhoods and small towns they serve. Sponsoring the Little League team, financing the business that keeps Main Street open, showing up when a local family is in trouble. Different missions, same instinct.

That’s part of why this donation feels right. The people who built it spend their careers doing exactly this kind of thing for their own communities.

Thank you

To every banker who registered for a webinar, stopped by our booth, or shared a moment with us in the first half of this year: thank you for being part of this. You didn’t just attend an event. You helped send a scholarship to a family that earned it the hardest way there is.

And if we see you at a booth or on a webinar in the second half of the year, know that you’re already part of the next one.
